Groveport Police Chief Casey Adams has been placed on paid administrative leave amid allegations that he sexually harassed a police officer.
Groveport Law Director Kevin Shannon tells WOSU that lawyer Anne Duprey of the Frost Brown Todd firm is conducting an independent investigation for the city.
Brian Steel, president of the Fraternal Order of Police Capital City Lodge, told WOSU in a statement that the officer who was allegedly harassed is a Fraternal Order of Police member.
Steel said if the allegations are true, the union expects Adams will be held accountable.
