Charity R. Deyer, 21, of Whitehall, faces felony child endangering charges for allegedly injuring her 23-month-old daughter and may face additional charges for the death of her 9-month-old daughter.

Charity Dreyer, 21, was indicted by a grand jury in Franklin County for allegedly murdering her 9-month-old child in September.

Dreyer, of Whitehall, is charged with one count each of murder, felonious assault and involuntary manslaughter. She is also charged with three counts of endangering children.

The Franklin County Coroner's Office determined A'Riyah Williams' cause of death was blunt force head injuries. The coroner's office ruled her death a homicide last week.

Whitehall Deputy Police Chief Daniel Kelso said medics were called to a home on Beechbank Road around 6:40 p.m. on Sept. 23 for an unresponsive child. Williams was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital, where she later died.

She is scheduled for arraignment on Monday in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas.
