Charity R. Deyer, 21, of Whitehall, faces felony child endangering charges for allegedly injuring her 23-month-old daughter and may face additional charges for the death of her 9-month-old daughter.

The Franklin County's Coroner's office has determined the cause of death of a 9-month old Whitehall girl was blunt force head injuries.

The coroner's office ruled A'Riyah Williams' September death a homicide.

Whitehall police had been investigating the death as a possible homicide. Whitehall Deputy Chief Daniel Kelso told WOSU that the case is now with Franklin County prosecutors.

The girl's mother, 21-year-old Charity Dreyer, was arrested in September after the infant died and her 23-month-old daughter was found with injuries. Dreyer faces felony child endangering charges in the latter case.

Dreyer remains in the Franklin County Jail. She also faces probation violations.
