Election Day is November 3, and it may be one unlike any other. During this unprecedented election, it’s important to know your options for exercising your right to vote.

Ohio How To Vote Guide

Verify that you are registered to vote and that your address is up to date.

How To Vote By Mail

If you’re registered to vote in Ohio, you can request a ballot by mail and vote from home. However you mist complete the following steps.

  1. Request a mail-in ballot. Complete and mail an absentee ballot application.
  2. Receive your mail-in ballot. Ballots begin being mailed October 6.
  3. Return your ballot. Fill out, sign and mail or drop off your ballot by November 2.
  4. Verify receipt of your ballot. Track the status of your ballot all the way through certification.

How To Vote In Person

Don’t forget to bring your ID!

  1. Find your polling location.
  2. Early voting beings October 6.
  3. Election Day. Polls are open 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
