Monday is the last day for early voting before Tuesday's election.
Voters who want to cast their ballot early can go to the Franklin County Board of Elections on Morse Road until 2 p.m.
Already 4,600 people have voted in person, and 15,000 absentee ballots have been mailed.
Aaron Sellers with the Franklin County Board of Elections says that despite the concerns about legally-mandated voter roll maintenance, the secretary of state's office has done the work necessary to ensure voters weren't improperly taken off the rolls
"I'm confident that all registered voters in Franklin County will be able to vote on Tuesday," Sellers said.
In its recent purge, Ohio removed over 182,000 registrations from the rolls, most of whom were voters who died or were considered "inactive." Under a court settlement, though, voters living within the same county can vote provisionally even if their registrations were canceled.
Voters can check to see if their registrations are active at MyOhioVote.com.
Do I Need Voter ID?
Ohio law requires you to bring a form of acceptable identification, which includes:
- An unexpired Ohio driver’s license or state ID card with present or former address, as long as your present residential address is in the official list of registered voters for that precinct;
- A military ID;
- A photo ID issued by the United States government or the State of Ohio, that contains your name and current address, and that has not passed its expiration;
- An original or copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other document with your name and present address. ("Current" means in the last 12 months.)

If you do not bring an acceptable form of ID, or if your eligibility is in question, you can still vote using a provisional ballot. If you do that, you must go to the Board of Elections within a week to provide that ID for your vote to be counted in the final election totals.
Election Day
On Tuesday, polls will open bright and early at 6:30 a.m. and stay open through 7:30 p.m.
The Franklin County Board of Elections says there are 351 voting locations across the country. You can find your polling location here.
Franklin County voters can look forward to casting their votes for Columbus mayor, four Columbus City Council seats, several local judges, Columbus City School Board, and a Children's Services levy.
With no national and few statewide elections on the ballot, though, local officials don't expect to see particularly high turnout this year.
"As an elections official we want everybody who is a registered voter to come out and vote," Sellers says. "Obviously that that doesn't happen in off year elections. It will be far busier next year for obvious reasons."
