A second person has died after a man drove his truck into the Diley Ridge Medical Center in Canal Winchester last week.

The Fairfield County Sheriff's Office confirmed on Thursday that Cindy Fritz of Carroll died. She was injured and transported to a hospital after a man drove his truck into Mount Carmel clinic last week.

An obituary says Fritz died at her home shortly after being released from the hospital. Law enforcement is waiting on autopsy results before connecting her death to injuries sustained in the crash.

The driver, Raymond Leiendecker, faces aggravated murder charges in the death of another victim named Scott Davis, who died after being transported to a hospital. Leiendecker is being held on $5 million bond.

In an emailed statement a Mount Carmel spokesman expressed their sadness, and said "Our hearts and prayers are with their family and friends."
