Update 8:41 a.m.: Both sides of Interstate 71 have partially reopened.
Original story: Interstate 71 was closed in both directions near the Franklin County-Pickaway County line Wednesday morning becauase of a semi-truck accident and subsequent fuel leak near Orient.
The interstate was closed between U.S. Route 62 and State Route 56.
Traffic to the north was backed up nearly to Grove City by 7 a.m. Drivers heading south to Cincinnati were being advised to take Interstate 70 West to Dayton to I-675 to I-75 South.
