Inauguration Day is here. Mike DeWine will be sworn in Monday as Ohio's 70th governor. Watch the ceremonies live, courtesy of the Ohio Channel.
DeWine, a Republican, has served as Ohio Attorney General for the last eight years. But he's a familiar face in Ohio, serving as U.S. Senator, lieutenant governor and U.S. Representative.
DeWine will be sworn into office at 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 13. His inauguration will take place at 11:45 a.m. on Monday, January 14. You can stream the ceremonies below.
DeWine won election in November along with Jon Husted, who is being sworn in as lieutant governor. They will take over the reigns from Gov. Jon Kasich, who is term-limited.
WOSU interviewed DeWine about his plans for the governorship, how he hopes to work with Democrats, and his top priorities in office. Read the full interview here.
DeWine will once again leads an entirely Republican slate of statewide office-holders, including Treasurer Robert Sprague, Secretary of State Frank LaRose, Attorney General Dave Yost, and Auditor Keith Faber.
Sprague and LaRose were inaugurated earlier this weekend. Yost will be inaugurated at 9:30 a.m. and Faber at 10:30 a.m. on January 14.
