Children's Services Finds Parents Of Girl Found Wandering East Columbus

Franklin County Children's Services said on Twitter Wednesday afternoon that they'd made contact with the girl's parents, who were cooperating with an inquiry.

Officials with Franklin County Children’s Services are asking for the public’s help in identifying a girl thought to be about two years old who was found in an East Side alley early Wednesday morning. 

Police say someone flagged down an officer around 12:45 a.m. after finding the girl by herself near Livingston and Fairwood Avenues. 

The girl is listed as 37 inches tall, 32 pounds, and was found wearing a black shirt and pink sweatpants.

People with information are asked to call Franklin County Children Services at 614-229-7000.
