Voters around Central Ohio are voting on city council candidates, school levies, and a proposal to fund a new community center.

Voters in Columbus, Hilliard, Reynoldsburg, and Whitehall are picking between council candidates on Tuesday's primary ballot.

At least eight school districts, including Pickerington and Southwest Licking, have property taxes levies before voters.

Franklin County voters are being asked to approve a property tax levy to fund in-home care and meals for senior citizens. If approved, it would increase annual property taxes by about $40 for every $100,000 of home value.

A proposed income-tax levy in Reynoldsburg would fund the construction of a new community center that will be operated by the YMCA.

Many Central Ohio communities do not have ballots on Tuesday.
