Columbus Man Gets 30 Years In Prison After Admitting To Three Killings

Franklin County Jail

A man has been sentenced to three decades in prison after he admitted under a plea deal to fatally shooting three men in Columbus over a two-year period.

31-year-old Orlando Daniels pleaded guilty on Tuesday to involuntary manslaughter with a gun specification in the deaths of Brandon Beard, Maurice Hall and James Williams Jr.

Daniels was arrested last year and charged with killing Beard inside a home in October 2013.

Daniels was later charged with killing Hall and Williams.

Hall was killed trying to drive away from an armed robbery in November 2013.

Williams was slain inside a duplex in September 2014. An informant said Daniels killed Williams after Williams got into a fight with another male.

Daniels declined to speak on Tuesday.
