Two Accused Of Selling Drug-Laced Candy To Gahanna Students

Two Franklin County residents face charges of selling Jolly Rancher candies laced with drugs to students at Gahanna Lincoln High School.

A grand jury indicted Briana Hudson, 19, and Hanson Daily III, 32, for making and selling hard candies to students.

In February, two Gahanna students fell ill and complained of accelerated heart rates and nausea after eating some hard candy.  They were taken to a hospital for treatment.

Gahanna Police say searches of Hudson and Daily's home netted batches of the THC-laced candy, as well as other drugs and supplies to manufacture the laced candy.

Hudson and Daily are scheduled to be arraigned later this week.
