Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump
New Hampshire Public Radio

Both major-party presidential candidates are scheduled to speak to The American Legion convention in Cincinnati that begins Aug. 26.

The nonpartisan veterans service organization says Democrat Hillary Clinton will address the meeting Aug. 31, and Republican Donald Trump will follow on Sept. 1. That will be the last day of the convention .

The group will gather for its 98th national convention at Cincinnati's downtown convention center.

Clinton spoke there last month at the NAACP national convention. Trump bypassed the NAACP convention, with the Republican National Convention happening in Cleveland the same week.

Both are expected to campaign often in the swing state of Ohio.
