Poll Shows Clinton, Trump In Near Tie In Ohio

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump
New Hampshire Public Radio

A new independent poll shows Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump running nearly neck and neck in Ohio.
The survey of Ohio voters by Quinnipiac University shows Trump leading Clinton 43 to 39 percent, with a three percent margin of error.

Pollsters says men and women are sharply divided, with Trump holding a 15 point lead among Ohio men, and Clinton leading among women by 19 points.

Both candidates have high negative ratings.

Ohioans say Trump would do a better job with the economy, while Clinton is more intelligent and has a better temperament to handle an international crisis.

Polls in the other swing states of Florida and Pennsylvania also show Trump and Clinton in a near tie.
