A new independent poll gives John Kasich good and bad news in his bid for president.
The poll from Quinnipiac University says Kasich is the most electable Republican presidential candidate in the November election, even though he's still third in the race for the GOP nomination.
The national poll says Kasich would beat Hillary Clinton 47 to 39 percent, and beat Bernie Sanders by one percent, which is within the poll's margin of error.
The poll says Clinton and GOP front-runner Donald Trump top the list of so-called “no way” candidates, with 54 percent of respondents saying they would never vote for them.
Sixty-four percent of respondents say Trump is at least somewhat responsible for violent incidents at his campaign rallies.
