Capital University has a new president. The board of trustees has unanimously elected Elizabeth Paul as Capital’s 16th president. Paul, who takes office July 1st currently serves as executive vice president and provost at Stetson University in Florida.
Paul says Capital prioritizes the kind of learning that the world needs.
“I found at capital a place that prioritizes critical thinking, asking difficult questions, having open dialogue. A place that puts its thinking to work; a place that applies its thinking to make the world a better place. A place that engages people in active learning, engaging in the community – communities near and far – to make a difference.
Paul replaces Denvy A. Bowman who’s retiring at the end of his tenth year as Capital’s president.
