Gov. John Kasich is coming off the presidential campaign trail to reflect on the accomplishments this year of his administration and fellow Republicans in Ohio's Legislature.
The Republican governor joins Lt. Gov. Mary Taylor and legislative leaders at noon Tuesday for remarks to the Westerville Chamber of Commerce. The event is being held at a food pantry called Westerville Area Resource Ministry, or WARM.
Kasich, Senate President Keith Faber and House Speaker Cliff Rosenberger are expected to highlight joint economic accomplishments, including policies that they say led to Ohio regaining the more than the 406,000 private-sector jobs lost during the recession.
Energy, education and criminal justice reforms also might be among topics they discuss.
Kasich's public appearances in Ohio have been sparse since he launched his presidential bid in July.
