Crews in northern Ohio are tearing down an apartment building that was destroyed when a business jet crashed into it, killing all nine onboard the plane.
Demolition in Akron began Thursday at the site of last week's crash.
No one was inside in the apartment building when the plane carrying seven employees of a Florida real estate company hit the building.
A preliminary report released Wednesday by the National Transportation Safety Board says an instructor on another plane had warned the pilots just before the crash that weather conditions were barely suitable for landing.
NTSB officials have said there were no distress calls from the jet's pilots before it slammed into the building less than 2 miles from Akron Fulton International Airport and burst into flames.
