Bill Clinton comes to Columbus today. The former president is scheduled to deliver a lecture at Ohio State University’s Mershon Auditorium Thursday afternoon.
Before coming to Columbus, Clinton highlights commemorations in southwest Ohio of the 20th anniversary of an international peace agreement worked out during his first term.
The Dayton Peace Accords reached at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base on Nov. 21, 1995, ended more than three years of war in Bosnia.
Clinton is scheduled as keynote speaker during a Thursday luncheon at the University of Dayton. The day's events also include a special screening at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force of the movie "The Diplomat," about Richard C. Holbrooke. The late veteran diplomat brokered the talks.
Diplomats and officials of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, and Croatia are among those taking part in this week's conference.
