Ohio Gas Prices Down To Start Work Week

Mike Mozart
Ohio gasoline prices drop again.

Ohio motorists are seeing lower prices at the pumps as they start the new work week.

The average price for a gallon of regular gas in Ohio was about $2.30 in Monday's survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and WEX Inc. That's 17 cents less than a week ago, and about level with what motorists were paying last month at this time.

A year ago at this time, the state average was $3.08 for regular fuel.

Monday's national average for regular fuel was about $2.26 Monday, down about a nickel from a week ago but about the same as a month ago.

The national average at this time last year was $3.11.
