A former Republican Franklin County Commissioner has endorsed Democrat Andrew Ginther in the Columbus Mayor's race.
Dorothy Teater a former City Council member and mayoral candidate thinks Ginther is the better choice.
"Well, I just think he's the best candidate for the job. He has the most experience. I've known Andy for a long time and he would just make a good mayor."
City Council President Andrew Ginther and fellow democrat Franklin County Sheriff Zach Scott face off in the Columbus mayor's race in November.
