It's not a long and winding road, but a section of Nationwide Boulevard in Columbus will be renamed temporarily to celebrate Sir Paul McCartney's concert visit to Ohio's capital city.

Columbus Arena Management and Experience Columbus officials plan Tuesday morning to unveil an honorary street sign for "McCartney Boulevard." McCartney will perform Tuesday evening in his first concert at Nationwide Arena.

Arena spokesman Gary O'Brien says the sign will later be sent to McCartney for his archives.

The former Beatle and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer last played Columbus in 2005. The city earlier this year hosted The Beatles' fellow 1960s British Invasion rock stars The Rolling Stones in concert at Ohio Stadium.
