Central Ohio Couple Found Dead, Police Say Murder-Suicide

Officials say a husband and wife were found dead in their central Ohio home in what police believe was a murder-suicide.

Delaware County sheriffs were called to a home on Falling Meadows Drive in Galena around 6:44 p.m. Wednesday.

Sheriff Russell Martin says David Lee Rings and Teresa Rings, both 42, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Martin says it's still early, but it appears that David Lee shot his wife before turning the gun on himself.

Police say Teresa Rings' 18-year-old son and a family friend were outside the home when they heard gunshots after the couple was arguing inside.

The family friend alerted police after he ran inside following the gunshots and found the couple dead on the first floor of the home.
