Former CCS Administrator Heads To Jail For Tampering With School Data

Franklin County

A former top level Columbus City Schools administrator, Michael Dodds, reports to jail today for his role in the district's manipulation of school data.

Dodds, who oversaw several Columbus City schools buildings, will start serving a 14 day sentence for his role in the schools' tampering of  student data.  He was sentenced by Franklin County Common Pleas Court Judge Kimberly Cocroft.

In June, Dodds pleaded no contest to three felony charges including attempted tampering with government records and two counts of unauthorized use of property.  The State Board of Education stripped Dodds of his teaching and principal licenses.
