U.S. Attorney's Office
The indictment said Arrick and his son, 22-year-old Keith Arrick Jr., took the juvenile and the women to Columbus hotels and advertised them as prostitutes on the Internet.

A federal judge has sentenced a Kentucky man to 13 years in prison for running a sex-trafficking operation in Columbus with his son.

Federal prosecutors say 47-year-old Keith Arrick Sr., of Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, was sentenced Tuesday after pleading guilty in September to sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion.

The indictment said Arrick and his son, 22-year-old Keith Arrick Jr., took the juvenile and the women to Columbus hotels and advertised them as prostitutes on the Internet. Arrick Sr. is accused of giving the women heroin in exchange for prostituting themselves and threatened to kill them if they tried to leave.

Arrick Jr., of Columbus, pleaded guilty last July to sex trafficking of children and was sentenced to 10 years.
