Vote Possible On Ohio Common Core Repeal Proposal

A day after Republicans won resounding election victories, an Ohio House panel plans a possible vote on a GOP proposal to repeal Common Core learning standards in the state. Wednesday's hearing comes as school districts across Ohio are working to implement the standards, which have the backing of a diverse coalition including teachers' unions and community and business groups. The powerful House Rules and Reference Committee is expected to make changes to the bill before voting.
