Flood Waters Invade Findlay, Marion County

After rising nearly eight foot above flood stage, the Blanchard River is receding. Flood waters from the Blanchard closed many streets in and around the city of Findlay. The Scioto River is expected to rise through the day in parts of Marion County that have already seen evacuations because of flooding. In the small Marion County village of Prospect, the Scioto is expected to crest in major flood stage early Tuesday morning. In nearby LaRue, several roads were closed because of flood waters. No injuries have been reported.
