Ohioâs Casino Control Commission has released its monthly casino revenue report. The report shows Clevelandâs Horseshoe casino remains the most lucrative. After pay outs, the Cleveland casino made $22 million in February. Columbusâs Hollywood casino made about $18.5 million. And the Toledo casino racked up earnings of $14.7 million. The Cincinnati casino had not yet opened. The three casinos generated a total of $18.5 million in tax money for the state of Ohio. In Columbus, the popularity of slot machines grew in February, even after the casino removed about 250 of them to increase space for other gaming and for a lounge. January revenue totaled $11.5 million; in February with fewer machines, revenue was a little more than $12 million.
