Students and staff at Linden McKinley STEM Academy are mourning the loss of 15 year old freshman Kaewaun Coleman. Coleman was fatally shot Thursday afternoon during a fight among a group of teens about a block away from the school. District spokesman Jeff Warner says Coleman is remembered as having a sunny disposition. "From what I understand from the principal, a very dynamic young man, very funny, very respectful. She recalled him always saying ma'am to her, yes ma'am, yes ma'am, I'll take my hat off." Linden STEM Academy enrolls approximately 700 students in grades 7 through 12. Warner says grief counselors and extra security is on hand today at the school. Columbus police are still looking for a suspect in the shooting.
