Columbus Officers Cleared In Deadly Shooting

Two Columbus police officers have been cleared in the shooting death of a burglary suspect who they say struck one of them with an SUV as he tried to get away. A grand jury declined to indict Officers Robin Medley and Christopher Britt. The officers said they saw Michael Kelly trying to steal a catalytic converter from a vehicle in January. The officers say when they identified themselves and tried to arrest him, Kelly tried to drive away in an SUV, which struck Britt. Both officers fired shots.
