Congressional Democratic Candidates Vie For 3rd District Win

With less than two weeks before primary election day, democratic candidates for Franklin County's new 3rd congressional district faced off in a televised Columbus On the Record Debate. Candidates Joyce Beatty, Priscilla Tyson , Mary Jo Kilroy and Ted Celeste all have public service resumes and good name recognition in Central Ohio. During the hour-long telecast they worked to gain advantage among democratic voters by parsing their positions. On social issues, all four expressed support for the new Affordable Care Act, universal contraceptive care for women, and same sex marriage.
