Adult industry mogul Larry Flynt is responding to criticism about an adult-themed store now under construction in Clintonville. It's drawn plenty of attention: a plan to build an adult-themed store in Clintonville, a quaint, walkable neighborhood full of boutiques and sidewalk cafes. Columbus leaders say it's only possible because less than half the inventory is adult-themed. Speaking on All Sides with Ann Fisher, Flynt said his stores are legit businesses with an unfair reputation. "We have around 20 stores open now nationwide, and we have to have proper zoning before we go in. We're running a serious business," Flynt says. Flynt's rise to national fame started in Ohio in 1968 with his first Hustler Clubs in Columbus and four other Ohio cities. The first issue of Hustler Magazine hit news stands in 1974.
