Ohio voters Tuesday settled questions about casinos, livestock and veteran bonuses. While a proposal to allow a casino in Columbus and three other cities was rejected in Franklin, Issue three proved popular in other regions of the state and won an endorsement from voters.
Ohio voters also gave a green light to creation of a livestock board to oversee the treatment of farm animals.
Three of four Franklin County school districts won voter approval of money issues. In the Southwestern City Schools, unofficial results show a a 7-point-4 mill levy was approved by 493 votes out of nearly 40-thousand votes cast. That lead to celebrations by levy supporters. WOSU's Debbie Holmes reports.
Tax levies also passed in Westerville and Worthington. Reynoldsburg voters rejected a 9-point-9 mill levy.

In Columbus, Voters returned three democrats, Priscilla Tyson, Troy Miller and Eileen Paley to council.
