Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann reportedly will address his political future later today . The Columbus Dispatch reports on its website Dann will make a statement at noon. Dann's spokesman would not disclose specifically what Dann would say but told the newspaper that "Attendance is mandatory."
Dann yesterday was poised to resign but decided against it after lawmakers rejected his request to delay an investigation into his office. Instead lawmakers quickly approved and Govenor Strickland quickly signed the bill which give Ohio's Inspector General the authority to investigate the Attorney General's office.
Dann has been under pressure to resign ever since he took responsibility for a sexual harassment scandal in his office and admitted to having an affair with an employee.
