Democratic Leaders Urge Attorney General To Resign

Marc Dann is telling his fellow Democrats that he's staying on the job. That's after Ohio's scandal-scarred attorney general was told by Governor Strickland and other Democratic leaders that he should resign. On Friday, Dann admitted to an extramarital affair with a subordinate after findings in an unrelated sexual harassment investigation threatened to reveal the relationship.

Strickland, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown, other Democratic state officeholders and all state lawmakers from the party wrote Dann today saying his actions hurt his ability to do his job. The letter says Ohio House Democrats will seek Dann's impeachment if he won't go. Dann answers that his sleeves are rolled up and he's working on behalf of Ohioans.
