Strickland: Don't sent Iraq war refugees to Ohio

Thousands of refugees from the violence in Iraq are headed to the U.S. but Ohio Governor Ted Strickland is telling President Bush - don't send them to Ohio.

The Bush Administration plans to bring to the U.S. -- 7,000 refugees from the war in Iraq.

The Democratic governor is taking the stand to underscore his opposition to U.S. military action in Iraq. Strickland actually voted against it when he was a congressman a few years ago.

In an interview with statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen, Strickland says he is sympathetic to refugees but Ohio has already paid too high a price for the war.
