A spokesman for the Clark County, Nevada District Attorney's office says Charles Mccoy Jr. is ready to return to Columbus. McCoy is the suspect in the 24 highway shootings in central Ohio.
McCoy waived his extridition at a brief Las Vegas court hearing Friday morning.
Franklin County Sheriff's detective Zachary Scott says McCoy could be returned to Columbus Friday or Saturday. Scott says police recovered a handgun during a search of McCoy's car and motel room.
