Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. was in Columbus Thursday discussing who he thinks is deserving of the Democratic nomination for President. Jesse Jackson Jr. is a Congressman in the House of Representatives and has endorsed a former Vermont governor Howard Dean.
Jackson says voter apathy is difficult to combat. He says says issues like healthcare and unemployment should be at the top of the administration's agenda, instead of the most recent announcement to re-energize the space program.
Jackson says both parties consider Ohio a key state to determine the winner of November's election. He says campaigning in the state will likely pick up, especially if there is any indication that people are registering to vote.
