Another car identified; eliminated as suspect

Chief Deputy Steve Martin says the owner of a sedan that stopped at a Speedway gas station three blocks from a shooting on Brown Road has been eliminated as a suspect in the 17 shooting incidents. Investigators are still searching for the owners of two other cars captured on camera around the same time as the shooting December 15th. Martin says he is eager to interview the remaining drivers so he can eliminate them or add them to the list of suspects. More than 750 tips naming possible suspects have come into the task force's tip line. Martin says police have resolved nearly 75 percent of those calls. For the first time, Martin spoke directly to the shooter, saying " We continue to make progress toward your apprehension."
