Reward offered for information on highway shootings

Officials are offering a $10,000 reward for information about shootings at vehicles near the south outerbelt.

Investigators are looking at eleven shootings this year along five miles of Interstate 270. A woman was killed last week.

Sheriff's Chief Deputy Steve Martin says businesses set up the reward. He says police have received about 350 phone tips. And he appealed again for the shooter or shooters to contact authorities.
