OSU Football Fans Await Clarett Eligibility Decision

Ohio State University running back Maurice Clarett met with athletic department officials. OSU and Clarett expect a decision today on whether he can continue to play football for the Buckeyes. OSU suspended Clarett from the team earlier this summer after questions arose over his eligibility. Clarett and his mother emerged from the meeting at St. John Arena. They did not talk to reporters. The NCAA is investigating Clarett's use of a car and his reported theft of thousands of dollars worth of stereo equipment.
