WOSU Public Media Leadership Takes National Stage at NETA Annual Conference
COLUMBUS, OHIO, September 27, 2024 – WOSU Public Media leaders attended the NETA (National Educational Telecommunications Association) Annual Conference and CPB (Center for Public Broadcasting) Thought Leader Forum September 15-18, 2024, in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Among attendees were, Anthony Padgett (General Manager), Laura Baker (Associate General Manager & Chief Advancement Officer), George Davis III (Director of Marketing & Communications), Amy Palermo (Chief Content Director of Education) Sarah Sykes (Asst. Director of Events & Outreach) and Jan Pollard (Early Childhood Education & Outreach Coordinator).
George Davis III moderated the conferences opening plenary centered on the conference theme, “Elevating Voices, Inspiring Change.” Amy Palermo and Jan Pollard conducted a seminar entitled “Conneting Hearts and Minds: Ambassador Programs for Sustainable Community Engagement.”
“It was an honor to witness our team command the space and represent WOSU, be affirmed as leaders in the public media system and contribute to the future of our industry through their participation as moderator and presenters,” said Anthony Padgett, General Manager.
