Violinists Charles Wetherbee and Marisa Ishikawa of the Carpe Diem String Quartet perform in the Classical 101 studio on September 25, 2019.

Our concert halls remain closed due to COVID-19...but there is good news.

Music in Mid-Ohio on Classical 101 continues to showcase the best of our local concert life.

In September, you can enjoy performances by the Westerverille Symphony, pianists Orlay and Orlando Alonso, The VIVO Music Festival with Siwoo Kim and Anna Polonsky, the Carpe Diem String Quartet, and the Columbus Gay Men's Chorus.

Nothing stops conductor Antoine Clark and his colleagues at the McConnell Arts Center Chamber Orchestra. They've taken to ZOOM with a long neglected Bach "Deptet."

(Okay, the Bach you've heard before....)

Cellist Luis Biava and violinist Ariane Sletner went to an otherwise empty McCoy Center in New Albany to make us a new recording of Beethoven's C Major Duo.

The music never stops on Classical 101. Join us Sunday afternoons at 1 for best of local concerts.
