If you're a regular Classical 101 listener, you might be familiar with the voices of Boyce Lancaster, Jennifer Hambrick, John Rittmeyer, and Christopher Purdy by now, but have you met your favorite host in person yet? This might be your chance.
Classical 101 hosts, Christopher Purdy and Jennifer Hambrick will be broadcasting live from the Columbus Arts Festival June 10th from 12:00 to 3:00 PM. But wait, there's more!
Stop by the WOSU Public Media booth near the corner of Rich Street and Civic Center Drive. Take a photo with a favorite PBS KIDS character, find out what’s in store for your Columbus Neighborhoods, and learn more about news and Classical music with the Classical hosts.
Plus, there's a whole Arts Festival to check out after you've met the local radio talent...
Activities at the Festival include do-it-yourself mural painting, letterpress demonstrations, plus activities and crafts for the whole family.
Don't forget about the opportunity to experience some of Columbus's greatest art exhibitors, too. Washington Boulevard in front of COSI will be home to the Big Local Art Tent. This tent will host an immersive art experience as well as live demonstrations pottery throwing, blacksmithing, stained glass, chainmaille/wire sculpture.
