Opera and More presents full length operas, many famous and some less so, along with the best new CD releases of vocal music, Saturdays at 1pm on Classical 101.
This new venture allows Classical 101 to keep broadcasting fantastic operas at the same time eventhough the Metropolitan Opera season has concluded. In addition, we will feature an art song, aria, and solo vocal releases as time permits.

We open this Saturday with Bellini's Norma. Also in May, we have The Pearl Fishers by Georges Bizet and Verdi's Otello. We'll hear new CD releases with Matthew Polenzani, Bryan Hymel, Piotr Beczala, Sonya Yoncheva, and later on the much discussed new Mozart opera recordings conducted by Teodor Currentzis.
