BalletMet Artistic Director Edwaard Liang was with Boyce Lancaster on Classical 101 on Thursday to talk about the new BalletMet production of Cinderella, set to Prokofiev’s music.
Liang says, “It’s lush, incredible music that you can just fall into. For a choreographer, music like that is the best place to begin creating a ballet.”
