Maybe those New Year's resolutions are echoing somewhere in your conscience — it is late January, after all. Or maybe you're an all-around fitness buff and just want to get the most out of your workout. New research suggests that working out to classical music can give you extra health benefits, according to India's Deccan Herald. UK-based scientist Jack Lewis compiled results from various studies and claims that even during exercise, classical music can help to relax the body. So while all music tends to inspire longer workouts, classical music also helps reduce the heart rate, lower blood pressure and levels of stress hormones and make a workout feel easier.
