Don't you just love summer festivals - walking around in beautiful warm weather without a care in the world; taking in the sights, sounds and smells (oh, that festival food!) of a great event? One of my favorite central Ohio summer festivals is the Columbus Arts Festival, which each year brings to our fair city a beautiful sampling of artwork in some of the most exquisite mediums. Join me tomorrow - Friday, June 1 - for a special two-hour edition of the Amadeus Deli from noon till 2 p.m. broadcast live from the grounds of the Columbus Arts Festival. I'll chat with special guests from the Columbus arts community, and although I can't send out festival food over the airwaves, I will bring you plenty of delicious musical fare by Mozart. Jennifer Hambrick unites her extensive backgrounds in the arts and media and her deep roots in Columbus to bring inspiring music to central Ohio as Classical 101’s midday host. Jennifer performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Civic Orchestra of Chicago before earning a Ph.D. in musicology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
