How Do You Get to Carnegie Hall? Take I-64 East to the Lewisburg Exit and Turn Left
You've heard the old joke about the guy who asks the cabbie how to get to Carnegie Hall? "Practice, practice, practice," goes the punchline. However, that isn't the answer you'll get from the mayor of Lewisburg, West Virginia. He'll send you to 105 Church ST near Mcelhenny RD. It's one of four Carnegie Halls in the world still in continuous use. Budget travel magazine puts Lewisburg at the top of it's list of 10 Coolest Small Towns in America. Carnegie was born in Dunfermline, Scotland, where a third hall is located. The fourth hall? So far, I have not located it. Do you know where it is? If so, let me know!
