A New Law Supports Artisan Micro-Distilleries and Microbreweries

11:00

The growth of microbreweries and now micro-distilleries in Ohio is showing there’s a market for hand-crafted beers, ales, whiskies and other spirits. It’s even drawing tourists who want to stop by to see how it’s made as well as buy the product. But up until now, buyers couldn’t sample a taste of the brewery’s or distillery’s product before they bought a bottle, six-pack or keg. A new law has changed that. We'll talk about that and more with guest host Stu Nicholson on this hour of "All Sides."

Guests

  • David Goodman (Director, Ohio Department of Commerce)
  • Greg Lehman and Dave Rigo (Owners of Watershed Distillery)
  • Eric Bean (President-Elect, Ohio Craft Brewers Association/Owner, Columbus Brewing Company)
